Dr. Tim Maness
Pastoral Counselor and SpiritCare Coordinator
Dr. Maness has been working in Ministerial Care since September 1, 2010. During this time he has counseled thousands of pastoral couples through a myriad of needs. After the 2018 General Assembly, he was appointed to serve as Director of Pastoral Care and SpiritCare.
His former experience in ministry ranges from Evangelism, Youth Pastor, to being Senior Pastor to two churches. This spans 21 years of full-time ministry.
Tim Maness has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Studies from Lee University. He also has a Masters of Divinity degree from The Pentecostal Theological Seminary. In May 2014, Dr. Maness received a Doctorate of Ministry degree. His thesis was entitled, “Achieving a Salubrious Marriage among Church of God Pastors through a Debriefing Process in Ministerial Self-Care.”
Since the pandemic of 2020, Ministerial Care has seen a 380% increase in pastoral counseling. Dr. Maness has become a leader and sought-after counselor throughout the Church of God without signs of slowing down.
Dr. Maness and Melinda have been married for more than 21 years and currently reside in Cleveland, Tennessee. They have three beautiful children - Brayden, Hailey, and Lucas.

Dr. Tim Maness welcomes Ginger Robinson, associate pastor of Westmore Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee. She discusses her journey as a pastor's widow raising two children in the shadow of her husband, Jeremy's, passing. She and her husband planted the Open Door Community Church in Northern Kentucky, where they pastored for 12 years before pastoring Bethalto Church of God in Illinois for 10 years. Their daughters were 16 and 14 when Jeremy died in 2015. In 2020, the Robinson's moved to be closer to family in Cleveland, where Ginger has taught part-time at TCPS and worked as director of the U-Turn Institute, as well as having led 15 GriefShare groups. Ginger has a BS in Communications from Lee University and an MA in Communications from Regent University.
